Ok....well... you already know that you need the tabards....and you are working on that...
the only other thing is the t-shirt that can be seen.... so...it would appear that you have no undertunic...which is ok...Adi Gallia appeared to have no undertunic....but the t-shirt is something that we recommend that you get rid of....one suggestion was to use a v-neck t-shirt..... the other suggestion is a "cheater" undertunic...which is nothing more than a "dickey".....

THANK YOU! lol I actually am already wearing a "thingie" (I know what you mean...) but since it is the same color it blends in (I don't like it much so you may be seeing me with a different colored undertunic soon). and noone ever told me I NEEDED tabbards which is something I asked earlier - I haven't been working on them since noone told me they were NECESSARY - thanks for telling me - I'll work on those.... as soon as I can fully understand how this sewing machine works...

You can dye your "thingie". That's what I did. Mine was cream colored like the rest of the costume so I bought rit dye and dyed it myself. Almost all the costume pieces that aren't cream is dyed myself.

What in the world is a "thingy?" I'm a Beavis and Butthead fan, so nothing that should ever even be considered to be died is coming to mind here.

I think the real name is a Di.cky - it's kinda like a fake shirt, it only goes around the neck and a little along the chest.

What in the world is a "thingy?" I'm a Beavis and Butthead fan, so nothing that should ever even be considered to be died is coming to mind here. lol...it is the on-board censor... supposed to be di*key... The great thing about the "dic*ey/cheater is that you can just pin it to close either higher or lower on the neck...whichever you like...and it looks just like an undertunic as it has the neckbands...I sometimes wear one in REALLY hot weather...but if an event is canon...no matter how hot it is...I will wear full undertunic.... I gleaned this out of the Jedi Code here at the Assembly... All Jedi must have a Lightsaber, utility belt, and boots. Robes and capes are optional. Robes and capes that are the color black will not be accepted, unless one is recreating the above mentioned "dark colored" Jedi costumes. T-shirts worn under the tunic may not be visible, and should not take the place of an appropriately styled undertunic. Boots must be mid-calf length or higher, and cannot be a commercial "work" style boot. The utility belt does NOT have to have pouches or food capsules, but when presenting a complete canon costume these should be included.Although I don't see tabards mentioned specifically in the other part of the Jedi Code....tabards are really a "standard" thing...like the tunic and sash...tabards are one of the things that separate a Jedi tunic set from a simple Karate Gi.....

okay - I found more of the same fabric my tabbards are made of to fix the length - luckily the stitches can be hidden behind the obi/sash. I started cutting those a minute ago so that shouldn't take long. I also plan on trying to get some dye to make my di.cky and pants a little darker so they don't blend in as much. thanks for giving me the suggestions. mtfbwy

haha! tabbards done. not too shabby if I do say so myself (especially for never taking a sewing maching "lesson" in my life ) and a personal check list: get dye dye dky and pants dye obi? belt pouches modify boots to make them "more" cannon
