When I first saw ROTS, I thought 'I've seen that before somewhere' when I first saw the wheel bike, but couldn't put my finger on where. The other day, I watched the SouthPark episode, The Entity, where Mr Garrison makes a revolutionary new form of transport, and low and behold, it is indeed Greivous' wheel bike (although the design was slightly modified to accomodate Grievous' anatomy) Is there anything else Lucas wants to rip off?!

Well, actually there is a REAL version of the Wheel Bike that has existied for quite some time. It doesn't have the legs and guns and fancy whatnot, but you do sit in the middle of the wheel and it has a small engine and handle bars and such. I found it reading on of my father's motorcycle enthusiast type magizines. (swear it wasn't THAT motorcycle magizine!) I'll look it up if someone really insists on me doing so.

Yep, Thats it. About modifying it, I highly doubt it would work. Grevious's is CG and imagination. It would never work in real life. Trust me. I've been in motorcycle safety and education for a very long time. Sorry to be a stick-in-the-mud. It's just something I do.

Well, that certainly told me That's pretty neat, I'd be interested to read a tech manual on that if there is one. I have to admit, I rather liked the idea of Lucas ripping off a SouthPark episode ;D

All I know is that you have to go about top speed (which aint very fast) to keep it up and it's difficult to lean and turn. If you know anything about the proper technique for riding a motorcycle, you understand the following. The motor makes it difficult to countersteer. Also, the croutched position makes it hard to maintain the wrist-down position and stopping is basically slowing down and falling over and putting your feet down. That's all I can impart. Hope it helps!

Hmm, yeah, that makes sense. It certainly doesn't look comfortable to ride in that position, maybe if the wheel was a bit larger, it'd be more comfortable

I think i'd have to see that in person to get me to even WANT to ride it. My first moter cycle ride scared me.. having to lean in the turns or risk crashing... And it so happened that a week after I rode with my friend he ended up getting into an accident and bust up pretty badly.
But I do have to agree it does look cool

Have you ever taken a motorcycle education course. I endorse (work for actually, but it truly is a great thing) ABATE's BRC. I know guys who have rode for 30+ years and take it every year, to keep up their skills.
