Hmm... Did anyone else notice that the Galactic Marines looked alot like snowtroopers? Food for thought.

Are they called Galactic Marines? I thought that they were all just Clonetroopers. And since they are the early versions of the Stormtrooper and Snowtroopers, the resemblance is purely intentional.

The Galactic Marines were a division of clone troopers, as were the ARC troopers and the 501st division. Ki-Adi-Mundi took a unit of Galactic Marines a campaign on Mygeeto. Commander Bacara served under Ki-Adi-Mundi when "order 66" was given. Click the Star Wars profile picture. The troopers surrounding Commander Bacara... Yeah, that's not just a clone. Very stormtrooper-ish.

Their resemblance to snowtroopers would have been intentional. Snowtroopers may just be wearing wet weather armour. A division of Stormtrooper, like the biker scouts are forest/jungle troops.
