I saw it at 7 pm the day it came out... the cinema was fairly packed, but not one person in costume...
I had only brought my lightsaber in case this happened, although I kind of regret it, I would not have been embarrassed by the end of the movie, everyone was pumped and I got quite a few compliments on my saber.
In my opinion it is the best of all 6 movies... I grew up watching the originals, and I have to say that ROTS is the best constructed, most emotional and most epic. I never thought that any movie would knock ROTJ off its mantle!

Our local TV and radio stations decided to go to the Spring Fest in town instead of coming to the premier...They opted for drunk and disorderly instead of Jedi and happy fans....what wusses...I shall e-mail them both and tell them what they missed......

I liked RotS, too, and I was the only person that the theatre had that showed up in costume I spoke with the teens behind the concession counter about "all the people" who showed up in costume, and they all replied that I was the only one, so far.
