Does anyone know anything about the planet Serreno? (Dooku's home)
There is nothing in the Star Wars website databank, and I haven't seen it in any of the various books that mention locations. I even tried to google it, but didn't find anything "official".
Perhaps it is developed in one of the books or comics I haven't read. Otherwise, it seems to be missing from the Jedi Archives. Hmmmm, dangerous and disturbing this is....

All I know is that Dooku was Count of that planet or a Count on that planet. I think it'd be nice to make a book about his travels fromt he resign and if or why Qui-Gons death made him feel and how he came to replace the thing that killed his student.

In Wookieepedia they mention this:
Serenno was the homeworld of Count Dooku, and a member world of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The Counts of Serenno had a magnificent estate with rose bushes not far from the seashell-littered shores. The Counts of Serenno were amongst the wealthiest beings in the galaxy and believed in noblesse oblige and self-reliance. The planet, in addition to the Count's estate, contained an active industrial zone, was much appreciated by Dooku.
After murdering Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas, Dooku stored his cryogenically frozen body on the planet, to be retrieved several years later for transportation to Geonosis, where a blood transfusion between the dead Knight and Qymaen jai Sheelal occurred.

Eeeewwww - that last part sounds creepy! But what else to expect from a Sith?
It sounds, then, like it's patterned a bit like "Old Europe", maybe even "Old England" or "Old France". This is helpful -- thank you very much!!

lol the blood transfusion was to what later became General Grevious. The same with one of the Lightsabers he carried.
