I finished rading it a few days ago. Awesome book. I was glad to see a non-NJO with Luke and Mara when they're married. Luke grapples a bit with how to be the Jedi Master and Mara has some brushes with her infamous past. AND we get to see the 501st in action. That was too funny for us costumers.
Now if we could get some writer to acknowledge us and have some Jedi group in a book called The Jedi Assembly. . . .
A good book about the Chiss and Outbound Flight, but it raises new questions too. Have to wait til the next Zahn book comes out to see the real Outbound Flight story

Got a question. Is the 501st from some other literary work or is that a nod to the costuming group from Tim Zahn?

It is a nod to the Fighting 501st, our men in white Zahn even dedicated the book to them.

I thought the book was very good and quite the page turner towards the end.
There was only one thing that bothered me and for that matter all books written since the prequels. There are things that are mentioned and discovered in the books ("Tatooine Ghost" for example) that is never mentioned again in the timeline. Just bothers me.
