Got this book from the librray as soon as it was released and I must say, ,it's nice to read a book with classic characters where they aren't dying! NJO is okay, but sometimes we need a break!
Anyways! I really liked the book. In fact, I may read it again before it's due date. Leia learns a lot in this novel and it's really great to see a bridge of some sort between classic and prequel movies. It goes into some detail about Shmi and her life without Anakin, and even her romance with Cliegg. I think it's a must read for people who love the prequel and classic eras.
Han has to overcome a few things too -- all over a painting!

So....when exactly does this book take place? I haven't heard much about it, other than it exists. ;D

It takes place about 6 years after ROTJ. Han and Leia have been married about 6 months and they go to Tatooine to bid on one of the few remaining artifacts left from Alderaan. I really liked it because Leia had to doa lot of soul-searching and coming-to-terms with her heritage and it also showed what happened to some minor characters in TPM, like Shmi, Wald, Kitster...

Tatooine Ghost is another that I will be waiting to come out in paperback form....since all my novels are in paperback...I tend to wait to purchase any new one until they are in paperback form....
Tatooine Ghost sounds like a good one and I can't wait to read it.....I am still struggling in the X-Wing series right now....

Sounds like a book Id really loove. Redin Reminint now but just slow Im getting burned out on the vong thing way to super human. I find myself enjoying the interactions of Han leia, Luke and Mara more then the other stuff. So thei Tatonie gost will be a must read. I like the soul searching stuff and finding the Depth in the characters. I love the Pre quel stuff.

I can't wait for this book....I was trying to wait for it to come out in paperback to save money and shelf space but it is very tempting so just buy the hardcover....i heard the book was very good. And i agree that it'd be nice to have a change from all the characters dying or surviving mortal peril in the NJO.
