Sorry about the multiple posts but photobucket is being a bit of a pain in the butt tonight, and keeps telling my pics have been deleted or moved, but strangely only on this forum, no where else? ?? Attachments:

Well, I'm glad I was able to help! They look really good (and frankly, after a size 11 I think they become unisex anyway, lol). I really love the pale color of the outer robe too; have you considered making an inner tunic in that color? I think that could give your character a snazzy, individual look (in my modest opinion). As it is, the robe color is delightfully distinctive and it gives you that perfect combination of generic + unique. Either way, it's looking good. Very nice job!

Thanks. I'm thinkling of changing the tabards to match the outer robe to be honest or maybe the undershirt, just to personalise it more.

I think changing the undershirt would look the best. Admittedly, I'm definitely biased on behalf of matching the tabbards/obi to the main tunic, but I think the undertunic would make more difference than people think. Though not much of it shows, it's the part which gives the tunic its "pop." If you were to match the inner tunic to your outer robe (or go just a shade or two lighter), the whole costume would have a beautiful golden glow which would keep the rich earth tones Jedi need, while giving you a uniquely regal color scheme.
I'll be the first to admit though, I think too much about colors. I look at it from the perspective of a film-maker - I prefer everybody to have a distinct, recognizable costume that blends in while still letting you pick them out in a crowd. If everybody looked like Obi-Wan, it would look like an army of stormtroopers. But in my mind, every Jedi should be a face character. Actually, a member of the Rebel Legion posted some amazing pictures showcasing a bunch of Jedi. Let me go find them!

I've been updating my Jedi costumes. This one used to be brown, but it wasn't that great of a color on my and being linen, it wrinkles, so I wasn't wearing it much. I put it in some navy Rit dye to get a much better taupe brown, here with pleather tabbards.
And I tried something a little different. I might get Clone Wars arm guards to go with it.
But i still have to iron the linen.

It's been a while since I've sewn anything so I thought I would wake up the skills with a new undertunic. It's made of a really nice taupe colored crinkle gauze, and the color thread I bought to match it is called "dolphin"!

From our previous discussions about "taupe".. on my screen it looks gray. Here is a new/old version. The brown tunic now fits better since I've lost weight. I added the patterned tabbards and undertunic.

Nice tabards! What character wears that or inspired it?
I like the patterened tunic worn by the female jedi pictured on page 121 of The Jedi Path. Yours reminds me of that sort of take on the typical jedi costume.
Gray, yes in certain lighting it does look gray, but if you saw it in person you would see the brown tones. It's one of those "fringe" colors hehe. I like the name "dolphin". It describes it perfectly.
