Yep, those are my fav fabrics. The fabric for the robe think super heavy insulated under wear knit, you'll probably have to get natural & dye it brown. Closing time, more 2morrow

Sorry about that, I wasn't able to get here yesterday. The stuff I'm talking about is very thick cotton knit of the same type that they make long johns out of, it's usually a natural colour, but should take dye, trick is to find it. You might try checking camping supply stores to see if they make camp blankets from it, as a couple of those would give you enough yardage for a cloak, they might even have them in colours.

Ohhhh! That really is quite pretty, if you get some let us know how it is. I saw a beautiful piece of raw thai silk the other day, similar colour, but passed it up as I'm broke, and I still have some khaki linen & natural silk at home to work on.
