OK. I was folding laundry and came across a pair of my wife's shorts. As I folded them I began to realize how nice the material would be for an outer tunic. So, I looked at the tag and it said 55% Ramie and 45% cotton. Anyone know where I might find some of this material??

Did you try a sewing store like Joanne's fabrics? You could bring in the shorts and ask if they have anything like it.

Ramie is a natural fibre, similar to cotton, quite nice, and decent store should have somethng similar to it. It is a good idea to take the shorts though.
