Never rush it, Kryy. My lightsaber was almost 10 years in the design and only 3 months in the construction. I think it turned out pretty good.

I lined the top of the tunic from the waist to the neck and shoulders with a stable woven fabric when I made tunics from the crinkle fabric, took care of sag & bag problems.

Well there doesn't seem to be much danger of THAT! My lightsaber was almost 10 years in the design and only 3 months in the construction. I think it turned out pretty good. Yes, it did! (As did the rest of your costume ... and you are already working on another!) I just need a block of time when I can really work on that pattern and not have to pick it back up and think, "Now what was I doing...?" Hopefully I'll have a little time around New Years before "accounting season" gets in full swing. Thanks for the encouragement -- much appreciated.

I usually buy a yard more than I think I'll need, I'll always find a use for it.
