Oh yes.... and Perry Mason always got a confession on the witness stand!
My favorite cartoons were (vintage) Bugs Bunny, including the Martian "you make me very angry", the Mr. Hyde Tweety Bird, and the singing frog.
And I loved Johnny Quest, although today I'm sure I'd find them really hokey. For a little kid, they were high drama!!

Those were the days. I remember when we didn't wash our hands between patients during floor nursing.....now we wear gloves and clean the steathascopes with alcohol. Also when nurses were afraid they would get HIV from a patient and now they take extra precautions so they don't give anything TO an HIV patient. Even a common cold can kill them.......
Let's go back to talking about tv shows......lol...... I use to love Bonanza and Gunsmoke. We use to watch The Lawerence Welk show as a family on Saturday night.
Ok, in the Earthen Tap Cafe, I have started a "Remember When Thread".......pop over and let's start reminising!!!

Yes, but didn't Bonanza "kill" Star Trek? Maybe it killed Perry Mason.... I can't remember..... BUT I know it killed one of my shows....

Yes, but theoretically you could trust people back then to tell it to you straight! Do you remember Mr. Moose and Bunny Rabbit and the avalanche of ping pong balls?

Siri, you smeared PEANUT BUTTER on Roy and Johnny? Shame on you! That was my favorite show, and if I hadn't started in music before it came out, I'd probably be in a medical career now.

LOL... omg... Mr. Moose, yes... It's funny when you watch those old cartoons you can imagine how many people would get sued if they aired today!

Good luck Em. I hope you don't lose power either. I'll keep you in my prayers.
I've been getting all sorts of little things done before I get the shoulder worked on. The doctors office called me today to tell me I have a small infection, which has to be cleared up before the "big" day. Oh brother, ::)I can just see me having something that would have to put the repair on hold, I sure hope not. I want to get the blasted thing done. Right now I'm really starting to feel a bit on the old side.

We got a sprinkle of rain and that was it. Today is overcast and sprinkly and slightly cool......*whew*....still staying alert and ready just in case. September is our most active month........

We got a little rain over here. But it was pretty clear a couple of days ago that whatever storm emerged would stay sound of PC. We got more rain yesterday than today. Threatening clouds only and nice weather, though humid.
