lol! I think we all feel that way, Schph. adults seem to have tghe freedom, and, then when you finally are one, it seems the kiids have all the freedom. It's one of those "the grass is always greener" things. My brother and sister-in-law were discussing their kids activities one night after we had all gone to see Spiderman. She said to me, "What is you people with no kids do? Spend all this time on yourselves? Must be nice!" So i said, "No. I have a job and responsibilities too. Not mention that I get lonely. Then I come here to hang out with you and YOUR kids and go see movies, 'cause that's where all the fun is!" Then my oh-so-wise brother added, "You know what they say about the grass always being greener......."

Speaking of lonely....*sigh* I am glad that my kids are grown and I like being by myself, but I do miss the noise and being needed. But.....then...... I have to remember that when I am out somewhere around alot of screaming kids...I can come home to quiet solitude...

No.....no pets.....I just don't have the proper time to give a pet...I rescued a cat that was abandoned years ago...got it medical care...paid to have his teeth fixed...then found it a good home....
I am just never home much and find it easier to move about with no ties....

Hi schph. I had noticed you weren't on line much. I feel like you. I have so many animals and although I do love them and would never get rid of them, I wish at times that I didn't have them. I spend most of my day caring for them. I have to hurry home from work to walk them and I have to arrange for someone to care for them if I want to travel. My daughter steps in for me, thank goodness, because she loves them too and if it came down to it, she would take them. They are just like children and have to be care for as such. Cats can be alone alot and they like solitude, but dogs are pack animals and do not do well alone and can suffer mental anguish if left alone to much. Dogs have no concept of time. You can be gone 20 minutes and to them is might as well be 20 hours. Fish are the easiest and you can get automatic feeders when you are gone. I have a 20 gallon aquarium and the fish are so relaxing to watch. Yes...... even the fish were rescued...lol But I have to say that my dogs are comfort to me and they feel my emotions and actually try to comfort me when I'm sad. Now if I could just get them to do the housework..... ;D

Well, add Schph Gochi to the ranks of the fellow Jedi Assembly members I've met. It was a pleasure to meet you at the C2 Ventures booth on Saturday at Wizard World in Chicago. But I never got a chance to say goodbye. Hope you won't hold it against me!

It was soooooo great to meet you Nick....hopefully you got all of your interviews done... I can't explain how great it feels to meet someone that you have "talked to" on line.....which revs me up even more for our gathering next year. I can't wait to meet everyone "live and in person"! I also met Mary Franklin (publisher of Bantha Tracks)...and I gotta tell you...that woman is the hardest working publisher I have ever seen...she worked her butt off all day Saturday....and the best part...she remembered TJA...and that is always a good thing!

I got all the interviews I wanted with the exception of Peter Mayhew. He explained that for legal reasons he would not be conducting interviews.
I understand and respect his position. Who knows how lucrative making EPISODE III is for him personally. And I get the feeling that he might have been given a stern warning following his comments that appeared on TFN.

Peter Mayhew not being able to grant interviews...makes sense....but I wonder why Kenny Baker was allowed to...I am SURE that he will be in Episode III....
Peter also asked members of Chicago Force for one of our t-shirts....so one of our members got T-Shirts for all the Star Wars Celebrities..it will be really funny to see a photo of one of them wearing the T-Shirt sometime...

OK, It is Oct 3rd...What are all the "ole" ladies up to for Halloween. I am hoping that the Stormtroopers here in town are going to dress up, otherwise it might be Klingon for me. I can't get a commitment out of anybody...That is so sad. I wish I lived close to some of you...
