Yeah Em, I know I'm one of those that is guilty of not posting lately.  I just got home late Friday night from Orlando. We drove there from Chicago so it was quite tiring. I swear I feel like I've been traveling at light speed for the last several months, but I think it may finally slow down a little now. Thank goodness! Still have more Star Wars related things to do, just not so much at once!  |

Well....one thing is for sure... the one thing that I have not been "collecting" is dust! lol... It has been one VERY busy summer! I think I about wore out my costume.....it has developed a slight hole.... and....I "re-collected" the weight I lost before CIII....so I have gone back to the diet....big surprise there....  |

I just don't see how you gain weight. You are never still long enough for the calories to get a hold of you.....LOL......are you getting ready for the winter??

I just don't see how you gain weight. You are never still long enough for the calories to get a hold of you.....LOL......are you getting ready for the winter?? yep....trying to get ready for winter anyway... I am pulling up what is left of my garden....it was a disaster year with the intense drought we had... I have a guy coming Thursday to give me a quote on insulating my house...my place is old...very old...and they didn't believe in insulation in the 1930's....and ...with keeping my thermostat on 60 degrees for most of the winter...I was able to keep my natural gas bill manageable...however...I think with the prediction of gas prices for this winter...well...it is time... I will be spending the next weeks raking leaves, pulling up garden, doing prairie workdays...a few costume events....so...I will remain busy... and...you know how it goes...the older one gets...the metabolism just goes to hell in a handbasket...and one has to work twice as hard just to stay on an even keel... and.. I finally figured out how the bookmarks work this morning... duh.....  |
