Actually...the air walker is going well....I guess it has been the cross country skiing.....I get that thing ripping to it's limits....but it is incredibly boring...
so I try to combine time on the air-walker with aerobics and "tonetics"....

How is the air walking going, Schph? I still love mine. I lost 5 pounds last week and I am not even starving myself! I can actually look at myself in the mirror and like what I see.....I am going to try and have another 15 off by the 20th so I'll feel really good. My Blood pressure went down from 168/110 to 140/78 and my cholesterol has dropped 60 points! I am so glad I finally hit the mental mark to get healthy...but I have to say...I'll be eating alot at CIII! I haven't had refined sugar since Feb 1st.... That is so hard for me because I am a chocoholic! Russell Stover makes great sugar free chocolate. I buy it all the time now... sorry for rambling on....this will be my first vacation ever by myself for more than a weekend and I am very excited!

The air walker is going ok...I am combining it with other things....like aerobics, toning, and the physical labor of prairie restoration.....I don't have a scale anymore...but my pants continue to get looser...so I guess I must be doing something...I should have some more off by CIII...not much more though...it is coming up fast.
And how are you managing the refined sugar thing...man...there is sugar in just about everything...I never, ever cook...I just eat frozen and canned stuff...and I know there is lots of "stuff" hidden in those foods...
and....you can have chocolate....just not a pound at a time...lol...well...at least that is my philosophy...I allow myself just about anything...but just not too much of anything...
As far as eating at CIII....I am the opposite ...I usually never eat when I am in costume...too afraid to spill....at CII I ate and drank only once a day...and that was after I was done with costuming for the day...I started the day with a couple cups of coffee well in advance of getting into the costume....go potty...then that was it for the day until I had dinner at the hotel....in my "civies"....
I hate going to the bathroom in my Jedi costume...I am always afraid that a tabbard will "fall" into the bowl... yuck...

;D LOL...I always think that will happen to me...Yeah, I try to curtail the liquids while in costume and I can't even think about drinking coffee...lol.... Makes me have to go all the time...lol. Usually I'll just sip instead of drinking alot.... I am very afraid to spill since I have only one costume.....I am probably going to be to excited to eat anyway.....
The diet is going very well......I eat everything fresh right now and that is so hard for me. I am so use to eating frozen and canned things too...and they are loaded with all the wrong stuff for me.
Don't lose to much weight...you look great the way you are........ ;D

Looks like the "collectibles" will be getting up REAL early for their coffee to run through the system before donning the Jedi gear...

Well, collectibles..it was a blast and I hope we can do it again for C4....yes....you too, Schph. We need to indroctrinate Whinter into the offical ranks of the collectibles. I find her to be a bright spot and alot of fun......even though she is a bit younger...she will ev entually catch up...lol....let the planning begin!
First I think we need to consider the Embassy again..now that we can find our way throught the maze to the convention center!!...unless the Westin serves breakfast and happy hour...lol. It is alot closer! But at the Embassy we had the breakfast buffet and any one knows how helpful having a good breakfast to start the day is... Can get you through to dinner....lol... and of course the free happy hour...goes without saying!.... ;D
So let's welcome Whinter to the ranks of the Collectibles!

I'm here, I'm here! Got your personal invite, Em. Thanks.
Still kind of recovering from C3, but I'll definitely be ready for a C4!! Bring it on!! C2 was fun three years ago but it can't compare to getting dressed up in costume and meeting everyone at C3!! I really had a fantastic time and made some great new friends.

For sure...think she can keep up with us??...LOL..... She did great at CIII, despite the boot pain when walking back to the room....but then again...all of our feet were killing us by the end of the day.

I'll do my best to keep up with all of you. You gave me a run for the money at CIII already. ;D Yeah, that was a rough time getting back to the room that one day with the boot pain. But I have two words that should hopefully help me next time...BETTER CUSHIONING! ;D Next time I'll make sure I'm more orthopedically conscious (if that made sense ). All I know is that I had an absolute blast with you guys at CIII. Thanks again for taking me in Em, Nova and Schph! Always a pleasure to room with fellow Jedi . *BOWS*
