What Sci-Fi character are you?

This thread is not about a quiz. I was just hanging out today in my meditation chamber (media room) and I was trying to think what sci-fi character best described me. I am not just talking about the Star Wars characters but ALL if the science fiction world. I actually thought about this for about 3 hours and mulled over about 20 or so characters from different works. After eliminating each character one by one for not having the correct attributes I finally narrowed it down to one final winner. It might surprise you but Capt. Malcolm Reynolds fits me almost to a T. I am not saying I am a thief or anything but sometimes I do the wrong things for the right reasons. I give respect when treated with respect but if you cross me, not a good thing. It may sound harsh but I have a soft side as well.So what do you all think is your character.

As for a Sci-Fi Character that would best describe me, well, I would has to say Security Chief Michael Garabaldi from Babylon 5. The sober version of him of course. Mixed with a little of Doctor McCoy from Star Trek TOS.

If I had to say something now I'd probably say a combination of Capt. Dylan Hunt and Spock....I've been accused of being an uncompromising idealist and a Vulcan.

<scratches head> Humm, I need to think about this one. All I can say pertains to the quizes I'd taken, but in this case, they don't count. There's a few that fit me and I them to a point. Be back later when I think of the right person or persons. :-D

I guess Delenn of B5, in away. I can be like Malcolm from Serenity/Firefly too. A great film, Serenity, Xana--rent it and you'll see who he is. Maybe like Linda Hamilton's character from Terminator in a way, and her character from Beauty and Beast TV show from the '80s. A bit of Han Solo--sarcastic like and all. Actually, I never though of who I am like. I really would have to think on that.

sorry i did not clarify who malcolm reynolds is. jedimistress was correct and he is a character from the tv show/movie firefly/serenity. he is real rough around the edges but deep down inside there is some compasion. he shows it in non-conventional ways.

All the Sci-Fi characters I've heard of are all good-looking, very evil, sarcastic, utterly stupid, and/or bold and courageous. Anyone know of a character who's intelligent but shy and sensitive?
