Your focus determines who you are.Things are quiet in Panama City FL.
Thankfully I came out of Hurricane Michael with little damage, since I'm on the Panama City Beach side of the county. But if that storm had made landfall just 40 miles to the west the news would have been dire for me. I don't know when the local news will have a show that does not have something about the aftermath on it.
And I did learn that you can ride a bicycle in a Jedi costume (without the lightsaber. The local Zooworld got themselves together enough after the storm to host their Halloween day and they asked 501st and Rebel Legion for people in Star Wars costume, so I went. They had to fence off damaged buildings and they lost 70% of their trees, but they got a decent turn-out. And the pavillion full of budgies and parakeets that people could feed came through the storm just fine. It was mostly netting and I guess the birds knew how to hide.

As a native Floridian (who lived through a few South FL hurricanes), I'm glad to hear you made it through Michael. I'm glad the Halloween event at the zoo was well received. I hope I'll be able to represent the Southern Order as well, when the time comes.
