Hello, I'm Jamie, an English man living in Norway. At the begining of January this year I bought the new Marvel Star Wars comic, and fell all the more in love with Star Wars. So this has become my #YearOfStarWars, gaming, watching, reading and, hopefully, cosplay. 
I've decided I'd love to have a costume ready for Ep. 7's release. With ideas for future costumes already bubbling around in my head I've decided to focus on becoming a Jedi. To that end I've done an awful lot of Googleing, joined the Rebel Legion forums, bought a grest big swath of brown cotton and looked (for the first time) at my sewing machine.
During the Easter holidays next week I'll be having a first attempt at making a Jedi Robe, based on the tutorial I found here by Ani-Chay Pinn. Exciting. I'll post up a wip thread once I start, and then I imagine I'll start having questions for you all.
