AUCTION:
Earlier this year, as we were coming up with ideas for the new patch design, artist Eric Siebeneck and I came up with the concept of reaching out to the star of Travel channel's "Toy Hunter" television show, Jordan Hembrough. Since it was a fundraising patch, we were hoping that the idea of someone who pays money for found objects would be a good one to help. Both Eric and I reached out to Jordan and were able to speak with him directly. He was very pleased to be a part of the fundraiser. Eric came up with the concept art, pictured below. Ultimately Lucasfilm vetoed the idea and we had to come up a different design, which is the patch we offer now.
Up for auction is the original rough artwork designed by Eric Siebeneck. It is 8"x10". This auction will take place on the TJA Message Boards and will be open to TJA members only (MB and Facebook members allowed). This auction will run from April 3 to April 10 at 9:00 p.m. EASTERN TIME, the premiere of the new season of "Toy Hunter" on Travel Channel.
All proceeds will got to help support The Jedi Assembly.
