Here are my photos of Max's event. I felt very honored to be part of helping Max realize his wish. s463.photobucket.com/albums/qq359/Jan-Qui/STWS%20MAX%20EVENT/?albumview=slideshowI know I was very impressed that so many costumers made it to see that Max had such a wonderful time. Our weather was not the greatest with pouring down rain off & on for most of the day but it was bright sunshine in the hall where we were at. To see Max's happy face. The adults & other younglings to just seemed so overwhelmed to see all the Star Wars characters who came to help a very special youngling. My friend, who came with me took my pictures told me people thought the costumes were rented for this event--- little does the general public know.

Though not a real costume outing... there were several of us TJA members that got together yesterday for a little fun and to enjoy the great weather. We had an "armor party" at the studio of TJA members Lionel and Emma Bottari. PARTICIPANTS:Emma Bottari - TC 3360 - RL/TJA Ed Kryzkowski - TI/DZ 4438 Cherri Kryzkowski - TI 4026 Cheryl Whitaker - TB/TI 3127 - RL/TJA Joseph Flores - TI1296 Phyllis Schulte - TK/ID 1951 - RL/TJA Ed Pekin - Chicago Force Lionel Bottari - RL/TJA It was a very interesting day...a lot of fun... We did do some costume stuff... But Lionel shared his tanks with us... the tank on the left is operational and he has used it for paintball... something for a parade? Remind you of anything? Like an X-Wing? We missed the leather store as they closed at 2:00 PM - so we wandered the Maxwell St. Market then went out for lunch at an authentic Mexican Restaurant... I picked up two new toys... Cheryl found this R2 D2 Fish Tank...formerly like $125.00 - or there abouts for $40.00 And... I got a new BFG - courtesy of Ed Pekin More photos s201.photobucket.com/albums/aa304/schphgochi/Armor%20Party%20Pilsen%205-3-09/

My first thought...
Wow, the Empire's recruiting as young as the jedi did.
Second thought...
Aren't you a little short for an officer?

Go for it Himi. He's really growing . OOOOOOOhhhhhhhhhh a R2 fish tank very nice. I've got some pics to share. I can't remember if I posted ConNooga 2009 here or not--I've been so far behind with everything. ConNooga:s463.photobucket.com/albums/qq359/Jan-Qui/ConNooga%202009/?albumview=slideshow----------------------------------------- I was in Las Vegas for a birthday & to visit a another Jedi. The young gentleman was celebrating his 30th bithday & he really likes Star Wars so I wore my Jedi as a surprise for him. We went out for dinner & I went in Jedi. My Jedi friend in Vegas would have trooped but it didn't work out. So we went out to lunch to a restaurant instead in Jedi. Went shopping in a grocery store afterwards---I got a few looks but most just ignored us. s463.photobucket.com/albums/qq359/Jan-Qui/JEDI%20W%20FRIEND%20W%20BIRTHDAY/?albumview=slideshow---------------------------------------------- We did go to see some casinos---I don't gamble (though I did play a Star Wars game & won a little bit--it was a penny slot machine--I did it mostly for the fun of it) or go to the shows but some of the casinos are really gorgeous--I think my favorite is Venetion & Mirage. (Excaliber should be Excalibur but couldn't change it ---duh) I was hoping to troop in Vegas with my Jedi friend but that just didn't work out. I did troop in 2006. s463.photobucket.com/albums/qq359/Jan-Qui/VEGAS/?albumview=slideshow------------------------------------ We discovered some very cheap airfare to go from Vegas to California & it's only a 45 minute ride by plane. It took longer to get from LA to Anaheim---over an hour. --didn't wear my Jedi but it was fun I also had the chance to go to Disneyland (1st time in over 20 yrs.) s463.photobucket.com/albums/qq359/Jan-Qui/DISNEYLAND%205-09/?albumview=slideshow------------------------------------ & California AdventureI really enjoyed the California Screamin roller coaster---I do like roller coasters a lot. My 1st visit to this park. s463.photobucket.com/albums/qq359/Jan-Qui/CALIFORNIA%20ADVENTURE%205-09/?albumview=slideshow

It's a cute tank, my boss got 1 for his birthday last year, but the fish didn't do very well in it.
