Weather preditions had been pretty dire....but ...it turned out to be a pretty good day....it was supposed to rain...but it never actually rained much...the sun actually came out near the end of the festivities...
The RFT is pretty comfy....the boots were new...and didn't want to flex much....and the chin strap on the helmet is kinda waaaaay too tight...that hurt after a couple hours....
but other than that ...it was comfy...and the best part...LOTS of pockets...a place to actually carry stuff!

Cool beans! I know that I felt bad missing the events at Kiddieland..but on the 14th I had a prairie restoraton workday and on the 15th I did the 5K Cancer Walk....it looks like those guys REALLY had a good time....

Well we had a troop last weekend. We did one of our annual Starwars Weekends at the UK's National Space Centre, and in the evening we did a fireworks event with over 18000 people  After the fireworks we all went out for food at a noodle bar and bumped in Jermy Bulloch and his wife so we invited them to join us. During the last session on the Sunday the Imps decided on a little impromptu 'purge'. Which was fun.
