So who's the Jedi that inspired you to costume? For me it was all of them, but first it was Luke. I had a green lightsaber back then but not really any costume. Then when the prequels came around it turned out to be Obi-Wan. So I'd say Obi is my fav overall. Why? He's an interesting character. We get to see his transformation from padawan to master, to elder within the time-frame of the saga. I can relate to training padawans, yet still feel like one myself sometimes lol.

In the OT I was definitely a Han follower. I LOVED Harrison Ford (still do). Jedi was just something obscure and never fully developed or described. It was intiguing, but mysterious.
But when the prequels came, I LOVED seeing all the Jedi in their prime. Seeing them use the Force, seeing their way of life. It was something I could aspire to. Qui-Gon seemed like such a perfect Master to me. And, of course, Obi-Wan was the one who beckoned.
So I have to say the Prequels - especially Qui-Gon in TPM, are what brought me to the Jedi and the Jedi Path and Obi-Wan has kept me here

Qui-Gon not only my favorite actor. He seemed to go aginst the Status Quo of the system. Challenging to the last and a fighter every step of the way and doing it.

I was really into Luke back in the OT days... no crush though (oddly) lol. I loved him in RotJ when he was fighting Vader and resisting the Emperor... so intense!

Qui-Gon inspired my costume. Yoda is actually probably my favorite. I had no interest in Luke when I first saw Star Wars (now "A New Hope") when I was a young adult. Obi-Wan, then, was too old but did inspire a life-long interest in the Jedi that took a back seat until Ep 1 was released in 1999.

Yoda is the Master of Masters! Though I often follow Qui-Gon's advice.

Oddly, it's always been about the Jedi, though I couldn't explain why. Alec Guinness was the reason I first saw it, I've been a huge fan of his since I was a kid. As for my favourite Jedi, that's really Qui Gon.
