I have created a QR code for TJA which will alllow certain phone apps, etc. to instantly access our main site when scanned Please feel free to use this in any correspondence, etc. relating to TJA. A QR code is a Quick Response code. According to Wikipedia, "A QR code (abbreviated from Quick Response code) is a specific matrix barcode (or two-dimensional code) that is readable by dedicated QR barcode readers, camera telephones, and to a less common extent, computers with webcams. The code consists of black modules arranged in a square pattern on a white background. The information encoded may be text, URL, or other data..." Most cell phones can have an application downloaded to read the Codes (Droid and iPhones for sure)

I'd like to get some new business cards made - do we need okay from LFL for that? They are give-aways, not sold. The ones we have are so dark. It's hard to put names in them

No I don't think so. Other merchandise we have limits imposed I know... but I believe these were approved to be produced as needed. I don't know about changing the design though... we might need approval for that.

Probably not, it's just the web addy, as long as the logo is the same I'm sure we're ok.

We've already done them but thanks very much! Are you a graphic designer? hey I just checked out your profile... I spend alot of time in Oviedo FL... just 30 min north of Orlando. Usually a few weeks in the winter and a few weeks in the summer. My mother-in-law lives there.

It might be as simple as to redesign them so the look they way you want unless the original files are editable

It might be as simple as to redesign them so the look they way you want unless the original files are editable Original file is photoshop so it's editable and the text is vector but the logo and background image are not. In fact they are rather small to begin with. Our best copy of the original logo was created for the web. I'm pretty good with design but when it comes to printing and sizing and stuff I could use some lessons.

How do you have cards made? And how did you guys get the signature thingies on the bottom of the posts?? Diana/Daystar We are going to make generic TJA cards and we'll have them at C6 or if you need some for an event we can mail them to you. As for sig banners, here's the thread: apfoister.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=generald&action=display&thread=5902If that doesn't work, go to members only... general discussion... and "TJA sig banners available again" is the thread.

is there a way where I can get a copy of the card file? I might be able to help fix the card, or does someone have one I could see?
