theforce.net/latestnews/story/CVI_The_Jedi_Trials_Holocron_Hunt_146004.aspCVI: The Jedi Trials: Holocron Hunt Posted By Mike on May 31, 2012 The Jedi Assembly has sent along their press release detailing the charitable fun to be had with the costuming organization at Celebration VI... THE JEDI ASSEMBLY INTRODUCES JEDI TRIALS: HOLOCRON HUNT CHARITY EVENT FOR CELEBRATION SIX The Jedi Assembly is please to announce a charity raffle based on The Jedi Trials all true Jedi must pass to join the ranks of Knighthood. This event will be a Holocron Hunt. TJA will sell blank holocron cubes for $2 each and the "players" will hunt for four participating Jedi around the convention hall to obtain stickers that represent the sides of the Holocron. Once completed, they will return to The Jedi Assembly fan table to receive a crystal to place in their Holocron and also to have their name placed in a drawing for a hand made Jedi Robe. Other prizes will be raffled off for $1 for those who choose not to participate in the "hunt". All proceeds will go toward support of the Vasculitis Foundation. This event will run twice during Celebration 6: once on Friday and once on Sunday. Times will be forthcoming. Vasculitis is a family of of rare diseases that can affect people of all ages. Though some forms of vasculitis improve on their own, most require treatment. The different types of vasculitis are classified according to the size and location of the blood vessels involved. The Vasculitis Foundation has developed descriptions of the different types of vasculitis. This information includes a definition of each disease, symptoms, diagnostic tests, therapies, and prognosis. The Jedi Assembly is a worldwide fan-based group for Star Wars light-side Jedi costuming enthusiasts. It is the intent of The Jedi Assembly to further enhance the Star Wars fantasy by recreating Jedi costumes for our enjoyment as well as others. We encourage screen-accurate Jedi costumers as well as novice costumers to join and share their knowledge with others. Please see The Jedi Assembly web page for more information and our "Jedi Code" at www.thejediassembly.com. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
