After looking at the cheaper version, I decided to pick up a second vault edition, through Amazon.ca, at $44.32 (CA), shipped! And considering the relatively high price (about $25 in stores) of the cheaper version, I think the vault edition is still a nicer book, even without the inserts!
Has anyone else compared the two versions? Notably, the ripped out pages in the vault edition, are actually intact but redacted in the cheap version. I also don't like the new cheap cover of the new one.

Yeah I have to say I like the cover of the cheapier version better except it says SW on it. The pages though I'll agree look better on the vault as does the crossed out or torn out Chosen One part.

I havent seen the book here yet in the simple version vs the Vault edition...since the only Borders bookstore within 100 miles of me is now closed ( I will have to go on line from now on to get my books...) I MISS MY BORDERS STORE!  I am glad I got the Vault version tho.... Diana |

It should be in any book store now Leda but it will be the non vault goody edition. I really hate the vault.......seems such a waste. The Sith one is shaped like a Holocron and opens and closes

I'm glad you enjoyed the book......I got the vault one through Amazon and used a LOT of gift cards together to bring the price down.....I am glad I got it inthe Vault, my youngest nephew loves to push the button to see it open, even thothe book isn't in it.....
And Starkindler, I never thought of that...I could take the pics of me and friends at events and make a record of the events I've been to!!

While not a Jedi book, I recieved the book of sith for my birthday and the vault for it topples the jedi path one, however the extra items are not as inventive as the ones from the jedi path, still a nice book to read....well not in a good way cause it's full of sith and such but written the same way as jedi path.
