Debating on whether to take it with me to jediCon. I'd hate to lose everything or break the vault box

I got this for Christmas or Life Day if you will. Though the vault is more of an annoyance to me then a feature, for kids it's obviously a nice item. I think the front of the vault should had the GAR or Jedi insignia on it however.
I was very impressed by this pannel at C5 and actually held the book then but had forgotten what a nice item it is. I'm still a little annoyned withthe scribbles from the 'famous Jedi' in it but again it's more for kiddies in that respect.
The lessons are awesome and it's great to see training laid out so easily. All the saber forms and styles as well as marks of contact are there and I live that there is a new tennent of the Jedi Code in there where it says there is not chaos, there is harmony.
I would love to see them make this book for sale at normal book stores. If there ever was a Jedi textbook or bible, this would be it

September of this year? I want to see a copy in my own hands before I get one, and hopefully it will go down in price!
I will have to keep tabs on the Waldenbooks/Borders here in my area.

I'm sure the price will be much lower. The big proce was due to the packaging. I can't see the book itself going for more than $20...esp. if its trade paperback

The book withthe Vault was cool but way too pricy for me...will have to recycle a lot of cans to get that one but if it is about $20, then that will be easy to save up for till then! ;D

I've said I don't like the vault which is true but the Jedi Cred and book itself have really gotten me back into the philiosophy of Jedi life

The book is now available at bookstores. It does not have the vault of the goodies such as the briad and cred

Just got a note from Amazon for this printing of the book but I saved up enough of the Amazon gift cards to get the Vault edition nearly free! This edition doesent have the other books goodies had but it is still the same edition and a LOT cheaper...too bad the Waldensbooks/Borders book store has now closed in my area!  Diana |

Actually, I discovered it is not yet in book stores. Tried to get it at Barnes and Noble store and was told they expect a shipment of 10 copies in the next couple weeks.

That's a good price since list is $99 and Amazon has it for $57. I have that, too. I'm looking to pick up an extra copy of just the book to have on display at Con tables, etc so that the copy in the Vault is not damaged. |
