Does anyone know how much time elapses from the Battle of Coruscant until Operation Knightfall?
I know there is at least a couple days lapse between the two but i'm trying to do some fan fic and would like to be as close to the actual timeline as possible.

I don't think it's ever made clear... but I think it's probably several weeks, IMO

you never know. if you follow the timeline of ESB from luke's POV it seems like he's on dagobah for a month. but if you follow it from han&Leia's POV, it takes about two or three days. (one night spent in asteroid cave. another spent in lando's suite. they get captured on their way to breakfast. then another night spent in lando's cell(?) --> it can't possibly take more than a few days. (which begs the question, how did a padawan with 3 days total training end up defeating the most powerful sith lord ever? "..more powerful than either of us!"[/palps-to-mace,EP3]) -===========- as for ROTS - the timeline comes from padme's pregnancy. - after the battle of coruscant padme was barely showing. - the book says anakin had been away at war for 5 months: "Skywalker was not the same young man the Council had sent off to the Outer Rim five standard months ago." (ROTS p.143 paragraph 3) - the movie ends when she gives birth to the twins (who each look fat&healthy enough to be a 1year old kid; definitely NOT premature babies LOL) ---> CONCLUSION: the movie takes 4 months to transpire.

There are many ways to learn the ways of the Force, but only those who have joined it may know best.

Well, it does take a while for a ship to travel between systems with a malfunctioning hyperdrive...even if it is the Millennium Falcon

"That's interesting....Lando." "Lando System?" "Lando's not a system, he's a man. We go back aways. It's far, but I think we can make it." "Do you trust him?" "No. But he's got no love for the Empire I can tell you that."
(quotes may be off as it has been a long time since I watched ESB). It could have taken awhile for them to get to Bespin.
