Saber Idol is a fun event for the whole family, so bring the family , and enjoy the fun. If a contestant qualifies for the Semi-Finals at ConNooga (www.connooga.com) they will be awarded a Golden Holocron and a free pass to ConNooga 2009. Oh, they were all great! Hope someone will put up some video. The fellow who did the best did one saber, then two sabers, and then held the two together (no connector) and did the Darth Maul deal. He WOWed everyone including the judges. Then the kids competed... one little blond cherub was dressed as Anakin and he was only a few inches taller than the saber and was terrific! (They used the UltraSabers stunt sabers.... very lightweight... surprisingly so.) But Jarren Landcaster's son won for the kids... he was a natural, and I'm sure it was from constant practice with his dad. I do hope someone will put up some video... HINT HINT!

I am very sad I didn't get ot see it, I do however hold hope that I may attend next year to view
