Saber Idol: The Search for the Nation’s Next Lightsaber Champion
The hum of the blade, the roar of the crowd, the thrill of victory... Do you think you have what it takes to become the next Saber Idol? Bring your best solo Lightsaber performance and impress our panel of judges to make it to the Semi-Finals at Connooga on February 20-22, 2009.

This Coming will be the second season of the hit convention competition Saber Idol. Year two brings many new sponsors and bigger and better prizes!

Ways To Enter Saber Idol 2009
There are three ways to enter "Saber Idol."

1) Send a self produced Video or DVD (maximum length two minutes) to be postmarked by December 31st, 2008, along with your completed entry form (limit one entry per contestant) to:

Any tapes or DVDs postmarked after December 31st, 2008 will NOT be eligible for judging. Both video and entry form must be received in order for you to be selected for the contest.

2) Upload a self produced video (maximum length two minutes) to the following YouTube address: www.youtube.com/group/saberidol - and either email your entry form to [e-mail] or mail it to:

3) Qualify at one of Saber Idol's pre-qualifying events @ said locations (see www.saberidol.com for details)

Tanthos Jorlac - Founder of The Jedi Assembly, international costuming group; Force Battle Extreme contestant - Master Replicas Combat Trials - Hollywood, CA 2007. Jade Starlighter - Fan judge, member of The Jedi Assembly costuming group.Simon Drego – Sabermaster extraordinaire, swordsmaster to Master Replicas 2007 freestyle champion Qui-Kel Jinn.
Saber Idol will be hosted by: Qui-Kel Jinn- Force FX Freestyle champion at Master Replicas Combat Trials in Hollywood, CA May 2007.
