Good news! Con*Cept has updated their website and we now have dates for Con*Cept 2007!! its going to be at the Days Hotel (same as last year) on October 12-13-14. www.conceptsff.ca/Last year was a blast, and very good IMO for TJA in Canada - we had a lot of interested people, good visibility and a few costuming prizes for our members. I would like to know who's planning on going this year. I would also like to know if I'd be to plan a Fan Table again this year. So... who's with me? |

I might be interested, but I will be there probably only Saturday, not the whole week-end (I was a bit disapointed last year...)
A fan table would be nice, I have a few props I might have time to complete by that time...

On our side we had a real blast, but that's mainly from the people around... I hope AI isn't in the basement this time. It would be great to have AI and TJA not so far from one another.
another thing I need to consider is that Kat is asked to make a KAG table, I might have to help her man her table.
Can we count on you for some time in the day of Saturday? I think we can expect sunday to be pretty slow again this year.

Con-Cept was quite fun last year.... the company was everything! I'm game to go this year again! I just need to avoid the police hiding on the highway and I'll be fine.   |

Alliance Imperiale won't have an official presence at Con*Cept this year (long story)
but I know a lot of our AI friends will be there.
From last year's experience, I think we need to setup on friday, be costumed on saturday, and take the sunday to visit, take pictures and close the fan table.
I can take charge of requesting the fan table (like last year) but we'll definately require props, sabers and presence
I assume we'll have:
props from Starkiller
props from Stey-Fann
table presence:
Leda
Stey-Fan
Anakin Starkiller (saturday)
I doubt our european friend will still be there.
With this in mind, I'd go forward and reserve a fan table.

Yeah, banner would be great. I don't think we can make a good impression on a table without our logo in big somewhere.
I'd like to make a french/english version of the TJA flyer, how would it work for approval of this?

and i plan to work on a lightsaber rack to hook up on the back of the table. I should give us more space.

he does but they come in 2 parts, ill make racks specialy for lightsaber hilts and FX sabers to have more room on the table. They are almost done I started with one but i think we will need 2 and i dont know what i would like to ingrave at the top of the racks   |

for logos I like the 1st "phoenix" more then the 2nd "galactic logo"
Last year Leda and James won prizes at the masquerade, I hope TJA wins something again this year.
