It would be cool to have a TJA table at Con*Cept www.conceptsff.ca/montreal, October 13,14,15. I'd like to know if this is possible. We're not ennough from Montreal per-say, we might need to import some Jedi. I know it would be good to try to increase membership. |

Steyfann - you movin' to MTL? that is great. we should manage to meet at some point, for some prop making and dueling. Where in MTL will you be? I'm close to downtown. In fact, I'm a walking distance from the Hotel where Con*Cept is. I guess with you and I we're ennough to man the table most of the time, are we? In addition, Kathleen is willing to help. She haven't completed her costume yet but she can use parts of mine while I am working on other duties... I'll start asking around how to work out a table for TJA (I hope you wouldn't mind if we're around AI Steyfann, it might even be easier to join efforts with them) |

Concept is starting to sound like some fun. Valerie-Anne just wants to be in the arms of another hot celeb (Steve Bacic-Telemachus/Gaheris Rhade-Andromeda). She loves him as much as she loves Michael Shanks (Daniel Jackson-Stargate-SG1). She talks to them both on the television and she talked while Michael was talking at T-trek. She has good taste in men... lol

SteyFann there is another thread for "help wanted for Con*Cept TJA table" here in the canadian section - I already stated you as being willing to help out. I am certain we'll have tons of chances to discuss about it via MSN.
the only backdraw is that everyone that is to attend the TJA table is expected by Con*Cept to have their Con*Cept pass.

The last communication I had with the con-com stated that all fan tables could be repositionned in a larger room - my guess is there's more and more fan tables registering - so I am completely uncertain of what is it we'll have behind us.
Also I need to call to get a final word about net connections... work hasn't given me free daytime in a while. :-(

On friday, the gathering point would be at the "fan tables" around 7h30PM - I didn't receive a final say on where this is to be, they were talking about changing its location. I guess we'll know quick ennough.
as far as I know we're going to be 4 TJA :
Corja (europe)
Stey-Fann (Canada)
Olos Nay (Canada)
Leda (Jedi Council)
this way we'll be able to change shifts and visit, as well as having people at the table at all time.
On saturday, we'll stop activities before the masquerade in order to be able to see it. Afterward, we have the "extreme costuming" panel where I suggested all TJA should attend - this is one rare pannel where all costumers will be allowed any props (the ConCept weapons regulations is pretty limiting)
On sunday, it closes at 6PM. I personally will attend a dinner with the Stargate groups of Quebec and Ontario, but will try and see if some other could join in.
I know I want to get disguised at some point in Nietzschean for picture taking with Steve Bacic.
for the rest, we'll see on friday when we get the official planning.
SUGGESTION - on friday after closing the table - I say we get to my place (walkable distance from the hotel) for a beer, coffee, soda or whatever beverage you may want.

Sounds perfect. I'll be there late afternoon, Friday. I have the room on Sunday night as well, and I leave Monday morning.
