Hello, i'm planning a trip to the Sci Fi con called SFX in summer of 2008 in Toronto. I know im early and there is no date yet. But still im planning in advance. I'm still debating between Polaris (Toronto Trek) and SFX (Fan Expo)
I guess it will depend on the guests. Or maybe I'll do both. surely if I'm doing only one I'd like to be with the most people possible.
Sadly, SFX and Dragon*Con are very close to one another.

I'm debating too between Polaris and SFX, but I would say that SFX is in advance for now...

Yeah, its bigger, but money-driven, as opposed to fan-made. The whole shatner/nimoy overpriced tickets a few years back left a bad taste in my mouth, making me wanting to avoid them.
StarKiller, you went to both in the past, can we have your views on them?

Last year montreal's con*cept2007 was, for me a total falliure. Empty. Personnaly i found only 2 cool table, TJA's table and the one from Alliance imperiale. The rest was pretty empty. For me thats not a Sci fi con. At least, Mr. Bulloch was kind enough to spend time with the fans. That why i'll try to go at the SFX. I saw so report on the Space channel and it look so cool.
