The last whorah for Master Replicas for the Force FX. Well I saw one at radio shack here and called MR and got mine for a good deal since I am a preferred customer. Well was it worth the price I got it for. Yes, but I think they could of used more medal parts then plastic. Here is some good points I always wanted a combination of obi-wan's and anakin's saber so now I can have it. Another, good item is that you can switch the colors from red, blue, and green with just a flip of a switch. Light weight and looks sturdy. Bad things mostly plastic Over all it is a great asset to my collection would I buy another one NOPE. Orion Lightsaber Review. I will say at lease a 7/10 I will miss the MR Force FX Collection

Thanks a LOT for that review I believe they use a Luxeon style setup as opposed to the previous multiple small led one. Orion, I'd be curious to see what are the metal parts. I am thinking about buying this, but if its not all that good, I'll keep on making my own stuff...

- the only metal parts are the emitter(s) and the endcap(s). the rest is plastic.
- it uses a single led in the hilt, and a hollow blade with a white plastic diffuser. the blade is only about 1/10 the brightness of an "ultrasaber" :/ maybe 1/8.
- the blade is only 1 inch longer than the Yoda FX. (my guess: if it was any longer then the (weak) LED wouldn't shine all the way to the end)
-with all the plastic parts, the overall weight of the thing is about the same as a hasbro. its very light and as a result , not very good for 'spinning' or dueling. it tends to fly out of your hand
overall, its a good saber for your 5 year old padawan. mine absolutely loves it. but its NOT a force-FX.
( don't expect "master replica" quality because you'll be dissappointed. this one is a toy for little kids. nothing more. if you're buying it as a collectible then you'd best leave it sealed in the box)

I just bought one today at Radio Shack. It was the demo model, and the last one they had, so the guy gave it to me for $40! It's missing the red button section, and the "Skywalker" lower grip has some wear on it, but other than that, it's in great shape, and I have the box and all that stuff with it.
The guy who sold it to me said a guy came in a couple of weeks ago and bought 8 of them, and then sold them on Ebay for twice what he paid! The girl working at the Radio Shack is another Star Wars fan (she's got a Vader MR FX saber on order), and was glad that I got the last one. She was glad to see a real fan get it rather than someone who just wants to make money on them.
I'll take pictures later.
