Greetings Midwesterner...and welcome to TJA and to the Midwest Order...I am Schph Gochi...Yoda aged Jedi from Mokena IL.
Where in Illinois are you from?
I will be looking for your official "introduce yourself" thread.
So, do you have a costume? If so...make sure to send a picture to Tanthos Jorlac ...if not...you have come to the right place. You name it....we have a thread for it..tunics, tabbards, robes, belts, boots etc....the whole ball of wax!
If you are near the Chicago area and don't have a costume as yet....Members of Chicago Force are having a robe making workshop and it is scheduled to be at my house on March 1st. They are still looking to find a place more centrally located....but for now it is still scheduled for my house. I will post details if you are interested......but even if you have a robe...and don't live to far away...you are welcome to join us!

Changing from "initiate" to " Padawan Learner" is just built into the boards...it automatically "upgrades" you based on the number of posts....next stop.......

Gallant....here are the links that I promised you...well...hopefully they will be right... www.chicagoforce.org/www.rebellegion.com/www.theforce.net/When you go to The Force.Net.....go into the message board area....then the Midwest...then to Chicago Force...a lot of the Chicago Force members post there and that's where you find out what's happening locally.. Chicago Force has a roleplay group, a book discussion group, and a costuming group...there are also featured events...the featured event for April is the farewell to Attack of the Clones at the Navy Pier IMAX.... hope that helps....  |

Man....your groups are alot more organized than the ones in my area.....the only group in my area that has some semblance of order is not exactly family-friendly, so I stay away from them.  And there's the 501st, but I can't keep in contact with them or keep up-to-date on their events. |

The 501st is BIG that's for sure...
I at one time wanted to do a "dark side" thing and join...
but I gotta tell you...I have a hard enough time keeping up with TJA and the Rebel Legion.....
I think I will stay on the "light side".....

I have seen the ways of the dark side. I'm almost thinking of going dark. If anyone can give me 6 reasons why I shouldn't go to the dark side I won't go. Other than that....I'm ok lol.
