What do you think will be the next FX?

I do not work for master replicas but it would be a good just too see what people think the next one will be if they make anymore.

MR has "unofficially" confirmed that a Yoda FX is being developed right now, for release in 2007.
unless they're working on something else they haven't announced, I'm pretty sure this will be the next FX.

after that, from what I've read, they want to concente on the "original trilogy" sabers,
to mark the 30th anniversary in 2007 and the release of the 3D theatrical version of "a new hope".



so the lineup for 2007 will be "yoda FX", and (my guess) a Luke "new hope" FX

Could they fit the electronics in a Yoda? And Dooku's is a strange shape, so the electronics probably wouldn't go in right.

the guy who runs fx-sabers.com went on a tour of the MR facility and they answered questions about upcoming FX models:

Unofficially I was told that as far as New FX's the next one to have a possibly of hitting production would be a Yoda force FX. But I was also told it largely depends on the consumers and the demand for more products....

In a general response to my asking about the Obiwan and Quigon of EP1 coming any time soon. With Yoda in the works right now and with each one taking about 9-12 months to bring to production... there could be plenty more in our future. BUT, I was again made aware that the market will need to dictate it.

it sounds like the Yoda is the only one being developed right now.

Yeah, from experience, it is hard to get electronic components into a curved hilt.

From the picture in the link it looks like the Yoda hilt will be greatly oversized, much like the Hasbro (?) toy version.

I'm hoping for a Qui-Gon hilt as well- and an Obi-Wan Ep I hilt wouldn't hurt either.

what I really want is an Obi-Wan Ep1/Ep2.
What I guess will come next is a "yoda sized" yoda. I mean it will be made to be the same as Yoda's, but at a larger-then-life scale that would make you feel like Yoda with this lightsaber.

Maybe also a Sidious. They don't have much sith sabers so they might want to make more. I am not sure about the dooku.

Ok, I can be totally wrong, but that is how I feel it will come.

But seriously, I'd really like an Obi-Wan jedi knight saber (as opposed to the jedi master).

I read something that said the Yoda saber was going to be canceled because it was over sized and they couldn't make it to scale. I would prefer that they wait until they can make it the right size because it would just end up like the Hasbro version.

I really hope they make a Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan EP I/II. But making sabers from the original trilogy sounds right because of the the 30th anniversary. Plus they wouldn't have to do to much to make Obi-Wan EPIV, Luke EP IV, and any of the Vader's because they have pretty much already done those.

But I think I know how MR can make the ultimate lightsaber that everyone wants with out having to send it off to get modified. But I will post that some where else because this is not the place for it.

I've been hearing gossips of the new 2007 line of MRFX on various forums...

Apparently in 2007 they'll come up with

Yoda ROTS
Luke ESB
Vader ANH
Obi-Wan TPM
