Their restriction on having a "legit ISP email account" by paying for my e-mail is ridiculous. I have MSN because that is who I use as a provider. To expect people to have a paid e-mail account in order be part of their forum is a bit arrogant, in my opinion. It's like asking us to pay to be part of their forum. They deleted my registration with out even notifying me.

Correct me if Im wrong but I thought all internet service providers actually include at least one email address as part of the service ? I know in the UK they do. Here though MSN are not an ISP, just a mail service, like yahoo etc. Do microsoft actually supply a dial up or broadband access service in the US now ?
Just curious as I may be in the US for awhile soon and will need to look at suitable ISP's.
As for why the RPF require a non free email account, well they are not the only one nowdays. With the amount of false addresses used for all sorts of scams etc, cant really fault them for wanting to take all the measures they can to protect the members.

YUP. I too cannot register because my E-mail ady is from a once free service that converted years ago...they seem to have missed the boat though! I await an answer to my explanation........

Just cut off the last few letters, and make ur first post explain why you did so. Perfectly reasonable I would think.

I don't think you can get banned because they cannot accomodate your name. Their fault, not yours.
