You can use those weights they sell for the pine cars that the Boy Scouts build. They come in a nice cylindrical shape.

Great job, Ki Vaan! I'll bet your paint technique could be adapted to a comlink. The basic razor (especially the ribbed part in the middle) seems to eat up silver paint, and my efforts came out very uneven. I may try again with the black undercoat and the add the metallic over it. If it's going to be uneven, maybe it won't look so much like painted plastic. Oh... it IS painted plastic....  |
