Anyone out there know what a credit coin/chip/bill supposed to look like? I'm thinking about making some, but I have no clue where to even start.

If ya look at the episode 1 visual dictionary under watto's page there is an image of a republic credit chip, also they use soem on the video game Bounty Hunter, in the movie scenes.

Hmm, thats a good question! I always pictured them as poker chip type things, but I've never really seen one. The monopoly ones look alright, but you'd have to assume that those notes are as accurate to their SW counterparts as monopoly money is to our real world currency

If you go by the RPG books, they were mostly coins...I recall a few triangular ones as well as round ones. Here's a shot of one of the monopoly credit notes

Thanks for the advice. (I completely forgot about the VisDicts) I always thought that they were a bit like transparent round pieces of plastic. A litter stiffer than paper but not as stiff as a credit card. Kind of like double thick transparency sheets. I think I'm going to try printining some things on a single transparency sheet and see how it goes. Probably with some Arubesh, and barcode looking things.

I The coinage sounds interesting, but would be combersome if large amounts are needed. I think the credit Chip or chit deoending on the source is a currency varient to use if large amounts are in use. Like the 20,000 Han and Watto qoted to their respective Jedi customers. Too bad I can't make my credit card look like one of them.

Yep, the credit chit is on the Watto page of the Episode I Visual Dictionary. It's pretty similar to a credit card, except with no text, just lines and square/rectangular shapes.
My guess is that when Han demanded a 10,000 fare to take Ben Kenobi & Co. to Alderaan he was talking about Imperial credits because by then Tatooine was accepting them...or else.

Any idea on scale for that? It looks like an etched circuit board, plated maybe... but I don't think it was the same size as a credit card.

I was thinking larger, about the size of one of the smaller Euro bills.

That would be fun to print up on business card stock with contact info on the back.
