Very nice I have to admit, Qui-Gon's saber is one of my favorites, purely for elegence and simplicity of design.

Nice! I'd like to get a Qui-Gon saber. Not any time soon, though. I just caved and bought the MR Obi-Wan RotS LE saber on ebay. It hasn't arrived yet. I'm watching the mailbox!
I'd also like to see your whole collection...

I picked up one of those Darth Maul double-bladed sabers this week with some of my birthday money. Let me say this thing is awesome, and freaking HUGE! (Don't worry, I haven't gone all Sith. Just thought I should wear something appropriate for the picture ) The blades are much more red than they appear here. The saber comes as two separate "battle damaged" Maul sabers with a coupler to create the full double-bladed saber. It must be over 7 feet long! And you can use them as individual dual sabers if you like. The sabers use 3 AAA batteries each (dramatically reducing the diameter of the hilt, and battery "box"). The sound is nice and loud. It uses the same soundchip as the Darth Vader ESB saber. One thing- instead of pressing a button to activate the blades, you must "turn" one of the buttons for each blade (like turning on a radio). It's a bit more awkward than pressing a button or switch like previous sabers. Another minor improvement- if you leave it on and untouched- the blades will automatically turn themselves off after a couple of minutes (kind of surprised me the first time it happened- they do the "power-down" effect by themselves). This doesn't happen if you are holding it, as the motion sensor detects that it is in use, and keeps the blades running. Way cool! All in all, I am completely impressed with this latest FX saber!

Thanks guys! Thought you would like to see some close-ups of the hilt: The battle damaged end piece (it's ashame the crystal does not light up). Another example of the size. That bookcase is 79 inches tall!

That is awesome! I'm gettin one, thats it ;D
Did you have to buy 2 seperate sabers, or does it come in one box? Also, does it come with a bigger display stand, or just 2 of the smaller ones?
