Just as the generic Jedi project began, so begins Rahm Kota. With the lightsaber... Don Close of Do-Clo Custom Sabers is making this as we speak. It will be katana-wrapped on the handle, and will also have brown suede wrapping hand-tied and loose-knotted around the section between the tsuka-ito and the pommel. It will be a bin4 green lux5 w/o sound, powered by 6AA NiMh. Will post pix when it's done. ~ Kota

Here are The ones of mine I have made. I also own about a dozen hasbro sabers and a Parks Fusion saber. This is My copper/leather saber. I'll probably use an amber acrylic rod as a blade. As you can tell, it's pretty small. Next is my PVC saber. I was going for a "worn" look. It has a piece of clear acrylic for the blade. This is probably my most recent saber. It's actually pretty heavy. It uses the other half of my clear acrylic. Group shot Lastly is my chopped up Hasbro saber. All it is is a peace of old vacuum cleaner handle with vacuum tubbing for grip. The grips were then wrapped in electrical tape.

I contacted him about a custom saber & he said he did not/could not thread sections of the hilt.

Torlin,
Love the Sabe collection. Especially the Scorpian and the Clone Trooper one.

I contacted him about a custom saber & he said he did not/could not thread sections of the hilt. Yeah, he said the same to me. He just cuts them to slide together tightly and uses button-head hex screws to hold the sections together. As long as the screws are aligned along a compass-point it'll be OK by me. I can replace them with flush-heads to be less conspicuous. ~ K 3

By the way, Koda, I just figured out the little bons mots in your name. Koda Vonner...Code of Honor...very clever, my friend. Of course, that it took me this long to figure that out makes me feel like Sergeant Schultz from Hogan's Heroes or something. Here's my new saber: I think I'll be a Jedi Consular. Oh, I guess not...I'll be a Guardian instead. I've just taken my first step into a larger world.
