In most cases I'd say this wa s aripoff but it does seem to be authorized as from a film set, andthere's a good chance Sam used it if that's true. But that's still wayyyy too much, I have picies of film sets and props I've worked on and they only go for that kind of money at chariety events.
It's a nice thing to see go up but I couldn't justify spending that much on a saber that's palstic in a sense and weathered and not even signed lol.
No thanks, but nice find

Like what happened when people found out lukes lightsaber was a graflex, now you can hardly get them for a decent price cause people plaster star wars all over it. and what about the folks that want to fix the old cameras and not make lightsaber stuff from it. they have to pay such a redicleious price for something cause they plastered star wars all over it. It was actually the camera buffs that started to plaster Star Wars on the stuff to make more money on their vintage parts. Same thing when Lukes Macrobinoculars were identified, they went from under 50 to over 300, cause camera guys just love to make money back from accuracy hounds

Yep. If the camera guys know you'er a costumer looking for the part, they'llmake it as difficult as possible to get it, from mkaing the price WAY out of your range, or lying and saying they "don't carry that part' when they do.Best bet, pawn shops and get the entire lighting thing.

Dont forget floor lamps will work good too cause there usually 1.5" overall diamater, and most hardware saber el or led kits are for 1.5" od tubing. just make sure your ID is right with there product.

I know the ones you mean. The cheap halogen floor lamps that they sell at Walmart, Taget, etc... The pipes screw together in the middle. I had one that broke and I saved the parts for a possible lighsaber since it looked to be a good size.

Yeah. I know my brother used to have one of the really old floor style lamps that had a fluted tubing of sorts. if he had kept it I could of made something sweet out of it.
