I'm looking to construct a Kermit the Frog puppet for an upcoming short film project. Any and all tips are heartily welcomed. Some things on my mind... -I'm not a sewer, but I'm willing to learn. Still, any alternatives to sewing? -How exactly do I connect the movement rod to the arm? -Where can I buy stuffing to fill him with? I have strong allergies, so wool or down is not an option. -Is there a pattern out there?

FYI, Master Replicas is now selling a Kermit puppet. The cost is $200. I don't know what you were planning to spend, but I think their price is resonable, considering it's an exact replica. masterreplicas.com//store/muppets/muppets/8611/

Once we find out the prospective prize for the film contest we're going in, I'll figure what we want to spend. As of now, $200 is not an impossible amount, but it's on the steep side.
EDIT: That Master Replicas Kermit is not really a puppet. It's a photo puppet, which means it's poseable, but it doesn't have rods or a place for someone's hand. We're doing this in live-action, where that puppet is designed for stop-motion.
