I personally haven't seen them in stores for a while. Luckily, I have one on-stock for when I decide to get my hands dirty and make my own comlink

I haven't seen them easier. Not with the latest models of razors that have been recently produced anyway.

I just saw some at the WalMart in my neck of the woods today as well. Although they don't seem to have many color variations any more. Slim pickins'.

Yeah about that did you guys paint the rubber type grip or just leave it that way?

Some folks fill in the grips to make them smooth, others just paint them to match the color of the comlink.
Personally, I would fill in the back grip with a flexible, paintable caulk, and paint the front grip. I have everything to make one, I just have many projects that have to come first.

be a man - get a women's razor yourself! that's what i did! lol! should have seen the stares lol.
either way - they still sell them here in town and they make excelent com's. I just painted both of the hand grips, using enough paint to make it fill in for the raised areas. I think I need to redo it though - mine I did when I was really young and inexperienced with prop making.
