Are those "three-pronged things" those beads to make bracelets and stuff? If so...awsome idea, it gives the feel of the original part.

<sigh> I still haven't finished mine yet, though I did make some progress last week.
Don't worry, it took me months to finish mine

This is my comlink i made it last year. I cut all the face parts out of aluminum filter tubing, and the rest is little found parts at home depot. I drilled a hole through the top to hold everying in place with a screw. Carving out the back and drilling was the hardest, because i couldnt get everything to lay flush. The paint got messed up and cracked because i applied to much and didnt let it dry long enough. But i actually like the effect now, it seems old and used. Its hard to see it with these pics though.

Wow, all these are very nice!! That's a great idea to use those beads... I know the ones... I used to buy them to use when I was teaching kindergarten.

ummmm, what is a greeblie Generally speaking, its a word used to designate a prop's detail piece, that might or might not have a function in either real life or prop's universe. Example: a knob, an activator box, a metallic gizmo, some washer thinggie or those metal pin accessories... Most of the time, the stunt props have no greeblies, but the Hero props does. It is a "standard" word in propmaking
