I just got this thing called a Pumpkin light today. It's just a plastic base with a red, green and blue LED, that cycle on and off, with a reflecting surface underneath.
It's meant to go inside a carved pumpkin, instead of a candle. Hmmmmmm, I wish I'd thought of looking for that before Halloween was over. But maybe there are some similar, holiday, candleless lights out now that would look good in a holocron. Aaaaaah, the holidays can bring out all kinds of prop possibilities.
Does the pumpkin light have a battery?

Yes, but, unfortunately, it has 3 AAAs spaced around the base. That's why I was thinking about making it a base for a holocron.
You can also look for a lighted base for those laser etched crystal sculptures. I have one of those, too, which I think I can take a part and cut down to fit inside a baseball cube.
I kind of didn't like it as much because it has a yellow, red and blue LED and I like the green one instead of yellow.
