Will do....
I am trying to figure out how to attach a neck strap to the "camera" electrobinoculars...then I can carry it around easier...
Nova...when you used yours as a camera...did you make sure that you had 400 speed film in the camera?
I have some 800 speed film that I might try running through the camera....see if it comes out lighter.

Yes....it looks pricey...and when they find that these things can be used a Star Wars prop (like the old Graflex) ...the price usually goes up ...even in non working condition....
I have a strap on my Tiger electrobinoculars/camera....I took one of my old 35 mm cameras and broke off the little doo-fudgies that you attach a camera strap to and drilled two holes in the electro binoculars (in a spot where the holes would have no effect on the light-tight camera portion) and then epoxied the doo-fudgies to the camera...works great, ooks pretty good and is functional to hang like a bandolier.... ;D

I watched Ep1 again just after reading this Xavior and I saw the droid version of binoculars and the Darth Maul version. I also looking in my visual guide too and found the Maul version. Can you tell me more about where (time frame wise) you saw this?
I now have a set of Radica Sub Assault game glasses, I will be working on. The Droid camera version that Schph mentioned and the custom set that i started this thread off of. The later are almost done. the sub game needs paint and weathering , of course the camera will remain as is

Greetings fellow Jedi.
After watching EII and seeing Obi-Wan's electrobinoculars I set out to make my own pair. I first thought about using the toy version of his that came in the Jedi Adventure Gear set but then thought that just like every Jedi lightsabre is different so should his/her electrobinoculars.
I ended up "kit bashing" a pair of children's binoculars along with using some vaccuum cleaner tubing around the eye pieces. I added a few gribblies here and there and VOILA!
I have also used a Radica brand Tank Assault and a Sub Assault game to make Sandtrooper/Hoth Rebel Electrobinoculars. They look very similar to each other, with slightly different gribblies here and there. For the Sandtrooper one, I sprayed stone paint over it to give it that distressed, desert worn look.
I used a slightly different model of Tank Assault game for my Sith Lord electrobinoculars. I painted them entirely silver, much like ones used by Darth Maul.
