I'd lose a finger if I tried that... I have enough trouble with sewing, and I've been doing that since I was 12... I've shed blood for Star Wars...

Trick-or-Treat has already happened her. It was Thursday night in my Dad's neighborhood (where we sent since my ton here had it today during teh day and I had to work). Best ones I saw was an ensemble -- Britney (or Paris, or Lindsey -- whichever, I didn't ask), with two bodyguards and even a paparazzi following her snapping photos. Great idea for a group!
Wednesday we're dressing up at work. I am bringing 3 costumes -- Jedi, Nod Officer (Command and Conquer video game) and Leela (Futurama)... and I only work 4:30-9:00.
Now why do you think they put me in charge of the Halloween costume contest? LOL

We had our 2nd annual custome party at our local church. We had a couple little Star Wars characters running around. Had a Darth vader and a CLone trooper (my son). Our official trick or treat night isn't until wednesday, but it's nice to have a safe place for the kids to trick or treat at.
I used this as the chance to premiere my costume in public for the first time. I was really cool to hear all the compliments on it. I will get pics up as soon as I can (no digital camera, ugh).
I was afraid that I wouldn't have my tabbards in time, but my mother in law came thru last thursday. All that leaves in my inner tunic, and then maybe I'll try to apply for memebership.

My sister's town in PA has Trick-or-Treat the Sunday before Halloween. I hear that's common for some towns to do. I may go to Universal City Walk here in Orlando to see what's going on for Halloween. I'm here, and to walk through the complex is free. I didn't bring any costumes... they're all at home in NJ.

Not exactly sure how we will be doing Halloween this year. I'm hoping to at least put on a partial Jedi costume for part of the day just to dress in it. ;DHave fun everybody---next year I can join you --something for me to aim for. ;D HAPPY HALLOWEEN TO ALL ;D

Well... here are my grandsons last Halloween... with a little Photoshopping thrown in... I wore my Jedi garb... two guys asked me if I was Obi-Wan... with my waist length braid and no facial hair, I'm sure I looked JUST like him... It was the boys' first REAL trick or treat, being the first year they lived somewhere safe enough to go out. The small town they live in now is CRAZY about Halloween. This year, I can't go there... can't afford it! So for me, no Halloween... I am not a happy Jedi right now... meditate on this I must NOT...

I've finished a tiny Luke Skywalker costume- complete with hat, binoculars, and lightsaber -for my two year old nephew. I'm going to his 'auntie' Beru. His costume is way better than mine, though. I had everything except the blue sweater and I'm just going to fold under the edge of my Jedi tunic for the outer thing. It isn't accurate, but it works. My sister's going to be a fairy and my Dad still has his great Pirate costume from last year. My mom never dresses up, and my brother rarely bothers. He did say if had money he would have gone as Indiana Jones or Vash the Stampede (from the Trigun anime). We had zero trick or treaters last year and I doubt we'll have any this year...in fact I hope not. The kids in the complex are nothing but brats (swearing that would make a sailor blush, being rude, and making a regular racket at night long after I'VE gone to bed) and besides, finances are so tight we can't even afford a bag of candy.

I saw over 15,000 kids in costume at Zoo Boo...and at least 10% were SW Vader and Jedi in the lead....with Clone/Jango/Boba in second and in last place Padme/Leias.
