I'm a newbie. What is required for the Jedi utility belt to have on it, besides the lightsaber? Pouches? how many & where?, Food capsels? how many & where?

Yeah that's the diagram I followed when making the belt, but I can onlt fit one set of four food capsules, so I have one each of gold, silver,copper and pewter. I also can only fit two pouches.

I have a question I would like to ask as well what is the standard width of the outer belt 2", 3" , or more?

Thats a hard question to answer. Anakin and Mace wear 2.25" with a 3/4" accent belt Obi_wan wear something like 2 3/8" with a 1/2" accent belt. 2" for women however I have found to work extrememly well, and there is some proof of that with Bultar swan amoung others As bad as it sounds though 2.5-3" to me seem too big...even that extra quarter of an inch for 2.5. |

The 3" one does seem awfully large but if it's on a large tall male, it'd be to scale to his size. The best thing to do Janqui, is to make the belt to scale to your size.

2" looks fine on me for a guy 6'2 I'd only go 3" if I were 7 feet  |

I make my belts all 2 1/2 it seems about right ... but 2 in should be good.

belt question? What is actually required to be on the belt. I'm awaiting one through the mail that I ordered. I know I need the light saber, that to is on order. I'm wondering about the pouches & food capsules.
I'm planning on making my pouches practical for use not just for show, if it's ok. I've been looking & I don't know where to get the food capsules--the staedtler pens are hard to find, any suggestions? How do those food capsules attach to the belt?

The food capsules are made from the pen tops and they just hook right onto the accent belt. Pouches come in very handy at conventions and they just add to the "Jedi look", but they're not required to join TJA.

I know that the ones used in the movies & most repilcas are some expsenive brand. I plan on using some cheaper types, and I just wanted to know what ones work best. |
