.Ahhh ... The Statler Brothers ... I have not pull out those vinyl LPs in a long time. "Counting Flowers on the Wall", one of my favorites.
I keep hearing you're concerned about my happiness But all that thought you're giving me is conscience, I guess If I were walking in your shoes I wouldn't worry none While you and your friends are worrying 'bout me, I'm having lots of fun
Counting flowers on the wall That don't bother me at all Playing solitaire till dawn with a deck of 51 Smoking cigarettes and watching Captain Kangaroo Now don't tell me I've nothing to do
Last night I dressed in tails pretended I was on the town As long as I can dream it's hard to slow this swinger down So please don't give a thought to me I'm really doing fine You can always find me here and having quite a time
Counting flowers on the wall That don't bother me at all Playing solitaire till dawn with a deck of 51 Smoking cigarettes and watching Captain Kangaroo Now don't tell me I've nothing to do
It's good to see you, I must go, I know I look a fright Anyway my eyes are not accustomed to this light And my shoes are not accustomed to this hard concrete So I must go back to my room and make my day complete
Counting flowers on the wall That don't bother me at all Playing solitaire till dawn with a deck of 51 Smoking cigarettes and watching Captain Kangaroo Now don't tell me I've nothing to do

Vinyl? Argh. VINYL!!!!! Don't say VINYL! I've been up to my ears in Ebaying my sister's records...
She used to own a record store.... and she lives in a small town, so I brought her 7 boxes of LPs and 2 boxes of 45s here to the big city to try to sell them....
Store owners told me there wasn't anything spectacular, not worth making me an affer, but I listed them all on ebay and everyday I have to ship out packages....
VINYL!!! ARGH!!!!! I did hundreds of listings and was never so glad for the invention of the MP3...
OK, now I've vented about vinyl...

I have a banned Poison record album cover with the gross tongue sticking out; "Open Up and Say Ahhh..." The cellophane is still on it. I got it for $6 many moons ago.

Gosh, I owned two milk crates worth of vinyl albums and back then I thought that was alot! I still have them. I don't think I will sell them, I like them, even though I have no turntable, they are keepsakes sort of. But I finally dumped all the 8 track tapes a few years back!!!!!

I saw ina movie where a villian was using a spinning disk-like weapon The prop department used a CD.
Movie studios can always use LPs, 8 traks and such to dress sets for period movies. Good grief these studios keep EVERYTHING.
