Remember Shrinky-dinks and Colorforms? Man, Colorforms were so stupid, but they'd keep me quiet in the car forever as a kid.

Oh yeah! And I had this thing called "strange change"... it was a thing that heated up these blocks of plastic and they would change into dinosaur creatures, and then you could compress them again into blocks... over and over again. It came with a prehistoric landscape... volcanos and stuff...
it was my favorite toy!

Do you remember "Creepy Crawlers" and plastic goop? You'd squeeze the liquid plastic into the bug mold and cook it in the "Thing Maker" oven on the counter top?
It got REALLY HOT and I burned the tweet out of my fingers on several occasions!! I can't imagine having toys like that now... everything is so "safe" and on top of that has caution labels galore!

member Emergency (squad 51) and Johnny and Roy! I used to have the little red fire hat that had the logo on it with Johnny and Roy. It also came with a bull horn. I broke the fire hat when I was on the monkey bars in first grade. It fell off my head and it broke and I cried!

Emergency was great! If I hadn't gone into music, I'd probably have been a paramedic. How ironic (or perhaps something else) that my sabers were made by an EMT training to be a paramedic.
Do you have the DVDs, Moskk-Lyn? They have seasons 1-3 out.

Umm...funny you should bring Emergency! up .....I had brought it up a few months ago in the Collectibles thread!!! Guess we think alike Here is what I had said: Remember Emergency & Adam 12? I had a huge crush an Gage & DeSoto...then they were on the TV guide cover one week. They did something I didn't like in that weekes episode and I smeared peanut butter all over their faces I was like 3...but man was I naughty!!! How did my parents deal with me I was an only kid (aka spoiled and naughty) until I was 6...and got my own way ALL of the time
Guess that is why I don't have kids....I'm afraid it would all come back to bite me in the butt!

My oldest son still has all of the StarWars action figures from 1977 and the Darth Vader carying case...... I still got mine too. Got the darth vader & the C-Threepio cases and all my figures too, but none of the weapons except bespin lukes lightsaber. All of them loose and well played with, of course. The only one I'm missing is the death star commander guy. My brother and his friends broke him to pieces when we were kids.
